Madonna is an entertainer. She’s the whole package (musician, instrumentalist, singer, dancer, etc). Whitney only was a singer, but not really anymore…

It’s hard to choose a favorite among so many great tracks, but “The Greatest Love of All” is one of the best, most powerful songs ever written about self-preservation, dignity. Its universal message crosses all boundaries and instills one with the hope that it’s not too late to better ourselves.
@bobbphysics lol that makes her a better songwriter. Whitney’s debut album was the biggest ever, 25+ million. So, I think it’s safe to say Whitney was a force from the beginning, in her own right. Whitney’s won awards in both Pop and R&B. The Preacher’s Wife isn’t either, it’s Gospel. So what Whitney is, is the greatest voice of all time. That’s why her voice on the National Anthem, made it a hit.
@sushisroxmysox who gives a rat’s ass? She’s a much better artist than Whitney, as she actually WRITES her all songs and has always been a major pop force and icon. All Whitney is another MOR pop singer IMO who has to let other ppl write her schmaltzy, sentimental material.
