Good but, try just running normally instead of cantering :P That helps to give you more momentum on the jump :]

yes i use bamboo sticks and it hurtss a lot less. what also helps is testing urself to see how wide or high you can go like start with a pole, to a vertical then when you get to the highest, go to see how wide while going higher. Its really fun!! good job!

Thank you for the advice. I used to jump bamboo canes a while back, and I agree, they do hurt a lot less! Nowadays I prefer jumping over solid objects (call me crazy, I know) but it’s a lot better for me because one thin wooden stick is a lot harder to get a good perspective on compared to a wooden fence ^_^

My advice would be to use something more lightweight; like bamboo canes :)
That way, when you hit them, it won’t hurt, and it won’t knock your confidence for the next jump ♥ That’s my biggest fault, being afraid of knocking the jump xoxoxo

i was wondering if you wanted to enter my jumping on foot contest?

  14. RNSpicey says:

I recommend you get some really light plimsoles and wear them (tuck in the laces), because you’ll be able to run harder and your feet will be better protected when you land – you don’t want to twist your ankle! I bet that if you try this it will honestly help your jumping because you can push off so much harder!

  15. ponyppl says:

Well thank you. I’m not really a sports freak; I do ride horses though.

you land really hard if you do it on grass it wont hurt as bad . i think its easier on hard ground but grass doesnt hurt as bad if you fall or land hard .

    My record is 4 foot….Longest is 7ft.

I use my noodles from my pool so If I hit it, it wont hurt :D

  21. AxJ09 says:
