How many days old should the chick be when I take it away from the parents?
Where to I put it? Do I need to build a nest?
What kind of food do I give? Do I also give water?
Other tips?

You can hand-raise chicks early but you need to get a formula from the pet store or vet mix with water and when feeding keep a bowl of hot water so you can place the formula bowl inside it to keep the food warm they wont eat it if it is slightly cold they will get water from this aswell keep it nested in a warm towel or blanket I hand raise my ringnecks from about 2weeks old you can get a feeding syringe from the vet or get a teaspoon and bend up both sides of the spoon and they will take it off that keep a warm damp cloth on hand to wipe beak and feathers clean as it is messy feeding them with the spoon. If the bird is very young you will need the syringe feel its gullet so you dont overfeed this is inbetween the neck and chest area.Goodluck
If you don’t already know these things you shouldn’t be trying to hand raise babies that already have parents.
Seriously, do some reading and learn more first or your baby will die.
If you don’t know what you are doing, there is a very good chance of you aspirating the birds (choking them to death) The wind pipe is right beside where you must put the food, and a novice can kill the baby quickly. Judging from the questions you ask, you really don’t know anything. Wait til the next batch of babies to hand feed. Till then, learn. But with this clutch, you can start to handle the babies when they get some feathers. You can still make them nice and friendly.
