Of course not. Come on now! Much of the problems encountered today are caused by the very people who came out en masse to elect Obama. The inmate now guards the asylum. Can you really see Barack calling a press conference to acknowledge that blacks are the poorest performing student group in U.S. public schools and that the bar will no longer be lowered to hide that fact? Never happen. Ditto with the violent kids who take out their anger issues in school, because one or both parents are in jail or otherwise AWOL.
Social workers are burned out as it is, overloaded with cases largely comprised of black and latino families. As a result God forbid a white kid needs help. Their families are expected to pick themselves up by the bootstraps.
Social responsibility starts in the community. Accordingly, I welcome black community leaders addressing high crime rates among young men, high pregnancy rates among young women, and high drop out and welfare rates among all. People are afraid to speak the truth, since truth is not politically correct.
Hence, not much will change.
I am just curious on a response to my question. Nor am I trying to complain I found answer interesting. Does anyone have an opinion to her response?
